Some people dream big. I like to dream small.
And simple.
A few examples to illustrate my diminutive, but doable, dreams.
My dream home (and location).
My dream recreational vehicle.
My dream motorized vehicle.

My dream would be to live in forest and watch the seasons pass by. A planet that was going through renewal would be nice, sadly I feel that a change in consciousness might be beyond us. Not being driven by clocks and time sounds good. My path is to consume as little as possible and turn my bedroom gradually into a forest scene through art and walk in nature, mediate, practice yoga and cook plant based - local if possible.

You have a calm life. That is good. Stress is a killer.

If we can keep moving the dream closer to reality. It certainly is worth the effort.
ReplyDeleteEvery day, in every way, we can move forward. If we want.

I’d like to share in your dream too. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to go far, go with others. We are in this together. We need a critical mass to reach the tipping point.

Beautiful. And achievable. Can we join you guys? I feel like some of us discussed this here a few years ago...imagine a notbuyinganything community where we could all live simply together and not have to deal with all the political BS and overbearing consumption around us. I'll help with the gardens, cooking and the chooks :)
ReplyDeleteThis was, and remains, a beautiful idea.
DeleteLinda and I lived in a housing coop, or intentional community, for a decade. There are some very, very good things about living this way.
