No idea what I clicked on to see this post and list years after it appeared. This is the best list I've seen on helping to make a decision on whether to buy something or not. May I suggest you re-post this? From the archives??

DeleteQuestions such as these put a severe damper on the enjoyment of shopping. While most people won't like them, I find them quite useful in pointing out how little shopping we really need to do.
Necessities, and not much more is all that is required.
