However, I...Miss Marla, Sorry to hear of your loss. However, I agree completely with your take on the situation.

While the death of the body may be sad for those of us that go on without our friend or family member's physical form, they on the other hand, are liberated. We should be happy for them and their transformation.

The individual wave stills and rejoins the water, or the energy pool - the common source of all.

"It's the only thing that is true in the end."

Yes, and once we realize this everything else comes into sharp focus, and perspective is restored. We are not our thoughts or memories, and we are not just a physical body. What we are is bigger than all of this, and dwelling in comfortable illusions only gets in the way of the realization of our true identity, peace and contentment."

This was recently brought home for me on even a deeper level. My brother died unexpectedly 2 weeks ago. At his memorial service this past Saturday, I realized that everything that others were focused on, what he did for a living, his failed body, his possessions and accomplishments, none of that mattered, none of that was who he was. Who he was, who we all are, is a connection of energy. That energy didn't die, that connection never ended. It's the only thing that is true in the end.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
